A visit to the Sahara desert is definitely an experience everyone should have at least once in their lifetime. It is a journey well worth the effort and you will have fond memories to last you forever. Imagine yourself on top a camel trekking through the Sahara desert. There is nothing around you and all you can hear are the footsteps of the camel on the soft sand. The sky is vast and clear in the day and filled with millions of bright stars at night. It is a very peaceful experience, one raley known to most of the Western World.

1) Camel Trek “Classic”- 1 night in Erg Chebbi
This tour of camel trekking begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The path we take willl lead us to a small oasis right in the middle of the dunes. This is where we will spend the night. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity.
After a wonderful dinner, we will build a campfire and play drums and sing the songs of the Berber, Touareg and southern Moroccans.
In the morning you can get up early take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50km from Merzouga.
You will be given the opportunity of taking nice pictures before and after breakfast and then you will be brought back to the hotel which is where the trek ends.
2) Camel Trek “Nomad” – 2 nights in Erg Chebbi
This tour begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The camp is located beside aproximatly a 120 meters high dune, which is where you will be spending hours of fun sandbording. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire.
In the morning, after having breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree ‘Tamarist’ for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with. Next day we take you back to the hotel after having your breakfast where the trek ends.
3) Camel Trek “Experience” – 3 nights in Erg Chebbi
This trip of camel trekking begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets, and everything else which we will need.
