Excursions from Agadir: There are day trips from Agadir to explore Marrakech and Essaouira. They are a 3-hour drive away. Agadir is also the starting point for 1-3 day trips to the South of Morocco: the Anti-Atlas region, Ouarzazate with its ancient kasbahs, and the Sahara Desert with its sand dunes. Nearby Agadir is one of Morocco's most important national parks, Sousse Massa, where you can enjoy the natural scenery and spot wild animals. A little further away is the famous beach of Legzira with its picturesque stone arches. If you just want to relax, take a boat trip on a catamaran!
