Do I need a passport to enter Morocco?

You cannot enter Morocco with just a passport. A passport is compulsory. This applies even for residents of Schengen countries. If you live outside the Schengen area, we recommend that you contact your country’s embassy in Morocco for information on how to enter Morocco FAQs.

Where can I exchange my currency?

The currency in Morocco is the dirham. There is no limit to the amount of money you can bring into the country, but it is forbidden to take out local currency. You can exchange currency on the spot. In all major cities, you will find dealers where you can withdraw money with a credit card.

Is camel trekking for everyone?

For almost everyone. Children under 5 years old are not accepted. For beginners: each camel is attached to a saddle in front of you and you will have a saddle to hold on to. It is absolutely not necessary to walk all the time and you can easily alternate walking and riding. The camel rider will guide the animal and is very useful when the camels get up and sit back down.

How can I book a tour with Sahara Morocco Travel?

How you pay to travel to Morocco depends on the company chosen. Sahara  Morocco Travel makes it easy to travel to Morocco, although some companies require you to send the total amount to book the tour. You just need to make a deposit of about 10% or 20% of the total cost of the tour, depending on the length of the tour, then pay the rest in cash to the driver when you pick them up, we accept Euros, USD and Moroccan Dirham. We use www.xe.com to convert the money. Deposit via PayPal, Western Union, or direct bank transfer.

Are the tours private?

Morocco travel insurance?

Working carefully on the safety of our clients is one of the most important things that has helped our company achieve this great success. However, if you prefer to travel more safely, we recommend that all travelers to Morocco take out an insurance policy to cover any unforeseen event that may occur in their country. It will be more valuable and effective than renting it from Morocco.

Can you organize the whole of my trip to Morocco for me?

If I book my own accommodation, can you only arrange for me to get where I need to go?

Yes, at your request we can organize transport only and leave the booking to the client.

What are the cancellation policy and the refund of the deposit?

Cancellation requests should be made in writing to the Company at the above address. The deposit will be refunded via PayPal if the cancellation is received 14 days or more prior to the start of the tour. No refunds will be given for cancellations received 13 days or less prior to tour departure.

What are the types of vehicles that are used on the routes?

On all our tours we offer comfortable and reliable vehicles, technically checked and with all guarantees. They can be 4×4, VAN, minibuses or coaches, depending on the size of the group. In all cases (unless otherwise stated), they are private tours with a Berber -speaking driver/guide. English Spanish, France, Germany, and Italy.

If there are 2, 3, or more people, is the price the same?

Our price depends on the number of people in your group, the larger the group the cheaper the price.
