Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountain - Zagora Desert
2 days from Marrakech to Zagora desert, will start by picking you up from accommodation in the red city of Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains by the Tichka pass (2,260 meters), the highest route in Morocco, giving panoramic views and beautiful landscapes. We will visit the extraordinary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO world heritage site). built on a hilltop and featured in several movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, after lunch in the Kasbah, then continue to Zagora where you will find your camel guide waiting for you. Your first night will be spent in the desert, sleeping in a traditional Berber nomadic tent. (D B)
Day 2: Zagora desert - Ouarzazate - Telouat - Marrakech
After breakfast at the camp, we will return to Zagora by camel. After freshening up, we will return to Marrakech through Ouarzazate and Kasbah of Telouat “visit of the Kasbah of Palcha Glaoui”. from this point, we transfer you to Marrakech, through Tizi n’Tichka, arriving in the evening at your accommodation. and end of your 2 days from Marrakech to Zagora desert.

An amazing two-day desert excursion departing from Marrakech! Even with limited time, the agenda was well-planned. Abdul was an excellent guide who made sure we had a comfortable trip with thoughtful pauses and helpful advice. Lunch gave tasty local alternatives, and Ait Benhaddou was intriguing with an informed local guide. The desert camp surpassed expectations with individual tents, hot showers, and first-rate service, and the sunset camel ride was truly spectacular. A must-do if you're in Marrakech and an experience to remember! Even though the trip is lengthy, it is full of breathtaking scenery, and our wonderful driver, Aziz, made it even better by making sure we were comfortable with thoughtfully scheduled stops and interesting information about the area. Our trip's high point was the camel ride at sunset, which provided amazing views, and the campsite surpassed our expectations with its kind hospitality and meticulous attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to make it an outstanding experience. Strongly suggested for everyone looking for an unforgettable desert experience!
