Upon your arrival, our driver will welcome you at the airport and transport you to your riad in the Medina of Marrakech.

Day 2: Morocco, The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to Dades Valley

Following breakfast, we will collect you from your riad at the designated hour and take you across the highest pass route in Morocco, the Tichka Pass (2260m), which winds through the High Atlas Mountains. It provides expansive views of the breathtaking scenery and the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains.
Kabash, Ait Ben Haddou
The highlight of the day is when we stop at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The Kasbah is well-known for serving as the backdrop for film sets for numerous movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. It is currently a protected UNESCO World Heritage site.
Reaching the summit of the hill, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas, requires climbing through the village. We are going to have lunch in this historic settlement in the desert.
Ouarzazate
We next travel to Ouarzazate, which is known as Morocco’s Hollywood and has a movie studio where you can tour. After that, we travel the 1,000-Kasha Road, which passes through the Skoura oasis. We proceed into the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night, after passing through the Rose Valley.

We pause to explore the historic Kheterra subterranean irrigation system as we wind through the palm tree groves. It was once utilized to supply fresh water to the nearby farms. Even though the water has long since dried up, the tunnel systems can still be visited.
Erfoud

Erg Chebbi
