Welcome to Casablanca with Sahara Morocco Travel, your 6 Days tour from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert, will start by meeting with our guide tour from your Accommodation in Casablanca, followed by a short drive to visit the Hassan II mosque, the largest mosque out of Mecca! and Casablanca, known as the largest city in Morocco, with more than 4 million citizens. The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest “man-made” ports in the world. The origin of the name comes from the Portuguese sailors who coasted this place and identified it by a small white house located on the Anfa hill, Casa Branca. Then we drive to Fes where you arrive in the evening and overnight in our Hotel.

After having breakfast at a hotel, Begin the day by exploring the Medina (the ancient imperial city), founded in the 8th century by Mouly Idriss, and its alleys. You walk in the small street with your local guide by visiting the Jewish Quarter, the Mellah, and the Royal Palace (yard), which is the largest in the nation. You will be visiting the famous tanneries and the Quaraouine mosque, and Al Karaouine University. After lunch, in a typical Moroccan restaurant in Medina, we visit the Merinid tombs and experience the wonderful panoramic view of the city. Overnight will be at your Hotel. BB. in Fes.

After breakfast, we leave Fes driving towards Ifrane, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco. Through this trip, you’ll see glimpses of the Middle Atlas and the highest Atlas mountains. Stop at Azrou, a Berber village in the center of the great cedar forest, the biggest in Morocco, where you may, we will see Barbary apes. Then, we drive through the Tizi Ntalghamt crossing to Midelt and the beautiful Ziz Gorges, carved through the volcanic cliff, and along the famous Ziz Gorges where we stop for panoramic views along the way to take some pictures of billions of palm trees groves, we drive through Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, before arriving at Merzouga. Here you will be welcomed by a drink of mint tea before you check in to your Riad.

After breakfast in your Riad, we start our 6 Days tour from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert, by exploring the desert area. We drive through the sandy Dunes of Eg Chebbi that stretches in the Sahara desert across 30 km long and 10km width. It’s a gift from nature, and it inspires locals and guests alike. Sunrise, a sunset are among the highlights. On the same day, we meet with nomad families who take care of their animals. They live in nomad tents, and they depend on grazing to get a living. Later, we head to visiting the Gnawa people in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about Gnawa music and their lifestyle. Nearby by is the lake of Merzouga with its birds, Flamingos. Then, you’ll visit the ancient city of Rissani. which is the institution of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is encompassed with 360 ksars (a fortified village with several towers) and holds a large souk (an open shop), held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa Was the reception point for the salt Caravans from Timbuktu in Mali. Here we take a short walk through the souk, prepared with spices, vegetables, and clothes before driving back to the village of Merzouga, where your camels are waiting for you. Guided by an experienced camel guide, you ride into the dunes of Merzouga. Dinner is in front of your tent where you will spend the night. And Breakfast.

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise on the top of the desert. After breakfast in the nomad tent, you peacefully camel-trek backward to the center of Merzouga. A route so unique and impressive of the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, changing with the sun during the day. We leave for Todra gorges. The highest, narrowest Gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the Gorge, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the Amazing cliff developments known as “monkey. Overnight in our Hotel.

After breakfast, we drive by the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The road through Dades Valley is the path of the thousand Kasbahs – presenting diverse opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the tour. We will have a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the Rose City, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a great time after your trip is over!
