we will start first day of Casablanca Grand Tour by Visit to Casablanca*, the “white city” – Morocco’s economic capital, with a local tour guide.

The Casablanca Grand Tour begins with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, which is of a magnificent size and rises above the water. It was built in 1993 by a French architect with public funds and is one of Morocco’s national symbols.
Transfer to Rabat (1.5 hours). City tour of Rabat. Rabat is the political capital of Morocco and the main residence of the King. We start our visit with a tour of the Oudaya Kasbah with its beautiful blue and white streets and the typical Andalusian garden, which is in full bloom throughout the year. Next up is the impressive Hassan Tower, once the minaret of the world’s largest mosque. All that remains of the mosque are fragments of the wall and columns. There is also the mausoleum of King Mohammed V, the founder of modern Morocco, which is richly decorated with mosaics. It’s guarded by colourful royal guards and it’s reverently quiet inside.

Tour of Chefchaouen, one of the most picturesque and photogenic cities in the world, hidden in the depths of the Rif mountains. It is often called the “blue pearl of Morocco”. The tradition of painting houses all shades of blue (the colour of the sky and the colour of God) was established by the Jews who once lived here. We will walk around the quiet streets, where life has not changed a bit in the last centuries, and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the viewing platform on the mountain. .

Guided full-day tour of Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities of Morocco. Founded shortly after the Arab invasion of North Africa and Spain, Fez quickly became the country’s religious and cultural centre. The city was shaped by the influence of two cultures, Muslim Spain and the Arab East. Old Fez takes you into the heart of Moroccan culture, where people in djellabas walk the narrow streets and where donkeys are still the main means of transport.
We begin our Casablanca Grand Tour of the city from its ancient medina, the largest medieval Muslim city in the world. We will walk through the streets and bazaars of the old city, ancient caravanserais and craft workshops, a mosque and the University of Karawin, and the oldest in the world, the Mausoleum of Mulay Idris II – the most revered tomb in the city (access for non-Muslims is forbidden), the Madrasah Bu Inania – the gem of mosaic architecture, richly decorated with carvings and stucco; Nedjarin Square with a mosaic fountain, the elegant madrasa Attarin and of course the famous tanneries of Fez, where you can see how leather is made using medieval technology.

Casablanca Grand Tour, Today have the longest drive (7,5 hours), but while enjoying the ever-changing landscape we don’t even notice how time flies. Along the way we will stop in the university and resort town of Ifrane, the town nicknamed of Moroccan Switzerland. On the outskirts of Ifrane we can admire the majestic Atlas cedars and feed wild macaques. Stop for lunch in Midelt. We then drive through the gorge and valley of the Ziz River and the landscape turns desolate as we approach Rachidia.
On arrival at the small village of Merzouga at the foot of the white sand dunes, we will transfer to desert boats, and camels, which will take us to a luxurious camp (the walk will take about an hour). On arrival at the camp, check in to tents with individual showers and toilets. As darkness falls, a hearty Moroccan dinner (included), drum dancing by the fire and watching the incredibly beautiful starry sky.

We wake up with the first rays of the sun to watch the sunrise over the majestic and quiet sand dunes. This moment will be one of your most vivid experiences in Morocco! After breakfast of strong Bedouin tea, we return to the village and continue by car. On the way, we will make a stop at the “Fossil Factory” where we can see the many fossils that this region is rich in. After about 3 hours we stop for a panoramic photo at the picturesque town of Tinghir in the middle of a large palm oasis. Nearby is the famous Todra Gorge, cut through the rocks by the river. The height of the steep walls is 400 metres and the width of the narrowest places is only 10 meters. Hike the gorge and have lunch at a local restaurant.
We continue our 10 Days Casablanca Gand tour to the Skoura oasis near Ouarzazate (3 hours) through the Dades river valley and Kelaat Mguna town, famous for its rose breeding. Dinner (included) and overnight in a colourful guesthouse in Skoura.

half of the day is spent exploring Ouarzazate which is often called the “Hollywood of Morocco” because many famous films such as “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, and “Jesus of Nazareth”, “Game of Thrones”, etc. were shot here. The heart of the city is the impressively sized kasbah of Taurirt, which in the last century belonged to the powerful Pasha Glaoui clan.
After a short drive (30 min.) we will see one of the most famous landmarks of Morocco – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO monument). The kasbahs (fortified houses) and ksars (fortified settlements) Ksar Ait-ben-Haddou is one of the most ancient and grandiose in Morocco and served to guard the caravan route from Marrakech to Timbuktu. It has been immortalized in the movies “The Mummy”, “Prince of Persia”, and many others.
Drive to Marrakech through the highest pass in the Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n-Tishka at an altitude of 2,260 meters (3. hours excluding stops).

Today you’ll discover the charming seaside town of Essouira, just 2.5 hour’s drive from Marrakech. Our journey will take us through plantations of argan trees, which only grow in this region of Morocco and nowhere else in the world! Argan oil is called Morocco’s liquid gold.
On arrival in Essaouira we will enjoy a fresh seafood lunch in one of the cosy restaurants.
After lunch a walking tour in the old town of Essaouira. The sound of waves, the cries of seagulls and the old narrow streets with a strong hint of the past create a melancholic atmosphere here. The town has a special flair with craft workshops, art galleries and shops where you can see designer clothes and bags, African masks and scrap figures, colorful ceramics and naive paintings .
During our excursion we will visit the fishing port with fishermen’s colorful boats where you can see their rich catch right on the ground; old Portuguese fortifications with towers and cannons; we will walk through quaint streets with souvenir shops; we will peek into the Jewish quarter and visit a carpentry workshop where local artisans make elegant furniture with inlaid material.
