Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.
Welcome to your Morocco student tour! Upon arriving at the airport, your driver will greet you and transport you to your hotel. Enjoy some free time to explore the city and interact with Marrakech’s colorful culture and atmosphere, which will serve as an excellent introduction to Morocco’s treasures.
You may arrive at any moment on the first day. Dinner isn’t included. Accommodation will be provided in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Following a full breakfast, we will begin our adventure to the Sahara Desert with a magnificent drive over the majestic High Atlas Mountains, which rise to 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will make several stops to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the highlands, providing ample possibilities for photography and relaxation. Our first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This classic Berber citadel is one of Morocco’s most attractive and well-preserved, with characteristic clay construction. It has also served as the setting for numerous blockbuster films, including Game of Thrones, Prince of Persia, Jesus of Nazareth, and Gladiator. During our visit, you will have the opportunity to explore the kasbah, learn about its history, and enjoy a delicious lunch in the village.
Following that, we continue our drive along the famed Thousand Kasbahs Road, passing through traditional Berber communities that provide a look into the true way of life. Day 3: Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges, and the Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we drive for Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most magnificent rocky canyons, reaching over 300 meters high. We continue our journey, traveling towards the Sahara Desert, where we will switch modes of conveyance to camels. This delivers an authentic experience of how nomads have crossed these huge expanses over generations.
As we go, delight in the stunning desert surroundings and participate in sandboarding. We’ll stop to observe the sunset and capture the magnificence of the occasion before heading to our desert tent.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a refreshing sip of traditional mint tea and a delectable Moroccan meal. In the evening, we shall be serenaded by the sounds of Berber drum music as we assemble under the broad, starry sky. Return to the hotel for a shower and breakfast before resuming your tour. We will next journey through the spectacular desert landscapes to Ouarzazate, passing via the picturesque towns of Alnif, Tazzarine, and Nkob before winding through the beautiful Draa Valley.
This voyage provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore Morocco, immersing themselves in the different landscapes and rich cultures of southern Morocco. Along the route, you’ll see the breathtaking contrast between desert, valleys, and Berber communities.
In the evening, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will spend the night in a nice guest home, reflecting on the day’s adventures. This halt provides a tranquil environment in which to recuperate and prepare for the next leg of your Morocco student tour.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Following breakfast, we will begin our Morocco student tour of 8 days to Marrakech, passing through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. As part of our Morocco exploration for students, you will see the stunning views of the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260m), a beautiful route that provides an amazing sight of Morocco’s natural splendor.
Before continuing on to Marrakech, we will visit the famed Ouarzazate Studio, often known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” This historic film studio, where many international films have been shot, will offer unique insights into Morocco’s film business.
When you arrive in Marrakech, you will check into your accommodations. The next day, you’ll go on a guided tour of the city, learning about its rich culture and historical attractions. This concludes this leg of your Morocco student tour, with more interesting adventures ahead.
Day 7: Marrakech Tour Guide
Marrakech, the capital of a flourishing medieval monarchy, is surrounded by massive stone walls. Within these well-preserved walls, you’ll see red stone palaces, beautiful gardens, and palm trees. The medina, with its small, meandering lanes dotted with souks and attractive stalls, has enchanted visitors for ages with its mystical enchantment.
Begin your journey by visiting the park overlooking the Koutoubia Mosque, where you can see the characteristic red-clad “water vendors” selling water on the city streets. Your day will continue with a visit of the majestic Bahia Palace, which is one of the finest specimens of 19th-century Moroccan and Islamic architecture and provides an insight into Morocco’s previous splendor.
Following a great lunch at a local restaurant in the colorful Gueliz quarter, we will visit Le Jardin Secret, a breathtaking garden established in the 16th century. It was once owned by various sultans and has been restored to include two sections: one with exotic plants from throughout the world and the other showing the serene beauty of a 19th-century Islamic garden.
Later, take a stroll through the Jemaa el Fna market and main square before returning to your hotel. The rest of the day and evening are free for students to continue their Morocco adventure, discovering more of the city’s rich cultural legacy.
Day 8: Transfer to the Marrakech Airport
